Welcome to Salt River Secondary school’s official website. It is important to note that as we move into the 4^th Industrial revolution that our school keeps abreast with the latest technological advances.

We are currently on the cusp of improving learner retention and the learner pass rate. By introducing isiXhosa into the curriculum has shifted our educational goals profoundly.

Learners at our school have a choice of 3 languages. For extra-curricular activities we offer agriculture, soccer, chess, hiking, poetry, a debate society and soon coding. Moreover, learners have achieved success in the Lalela Art programme and soon our library resource centre will be a hub of activity.

All educative successes thus far are a direct result of the teachers’ dedication, passion and commitment to the learning and teaching programme.
